When can we expect osCommerce 3.0?

We have all been waiting for over 2 years now for MS 3 to be finalized but it has yet to happen.  The latest beta release is osCommerce 3.0 Alpha 4 “Lebkuchen” released 03/30/2007 which makes it almost a year old.  
Should you try and use it?  No.  Should you worry that it is overdue?  No.  Don’t sweat the small stuff – MS3 is a technical not functional release of osCommerce.  osCommerce RC2a is a great version of osCommerce and we highly recommend it for any new site.
