php 5.5 End of Life

Still running php 5.4 or lower?  Many sites probably are.  2016 is the year to bite the bullet and upgrade to at least php 5.6.
With php 5.5 reaching end of life in July 2016 there is no point in upgrading to anything under 5.6.
