osCommerce Experts located in Brooklyn New York.

ozEworks is a privately owned company headed by Kym Romanets.  Mrs. Romanets has over 25 years IT experience.  She has a B.Sc in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics and is a Certified Master Project Director.  She has also completed post-graduate studies in Contact Law and Intellectual Propertyas it pertains to Cyberspace.

Her background is in custom software development.  Having started out life as a programmer, she moved through the ranks of systems analyst, business analyst, project manager and project director before she ended her corporate career as the Chief Operating Officer of an IT consulting company.

Locations

ozEworks’ head office is in New York.  All customer communications are via this office.

Our development lab is in Kharkov, Ukraine.   We also have people in Australia, Canada and the UK.

Development Lab

We currently employ 18 staff in the development lab working under our Technical Manager.  Within the development group, there are 4 Project Managers/Business Analysts, 4 Lead Programmers, 6 Programmers, 1 Trainee Programmer,  2 Graphic Designers and 1 Site Tester. 

All developers have formal university qualifications which include specialist areas such as User Interface Design, Database Design and Systems Administration. They are all fluent in English.

Localization Team

In addition to our development team, we have a localization team on call in the US, Australia, Canada and the UK to help with both site and SEO testing. 

We also have a freelance Photographer based in New York who is available for product photography and Photoshop editing.

Client Base

We have a customer base of around 200 sites with about 4 new site projects and 50 active supports clients at any one time.  While many of these are direct clients, a great deal of our work is done under subcontract to US Agencies and, as such, is done under non-disclosure agreements.  This means we cannot show that work in our portfolio.  As a result, some of our best work “hidden”.
