Premiere Raceway Products, Inc. manufacture the WIRE HIDER and RACEWAY ON-A-ROLL products.  Their market is wholesalers and electrical contractors which makes them are a Business-to-Business operation.  They know how to sell to business. They are at all the trade shows and they have ads in all the right magazines.  They are out there and they are successful in that market.

With the advent of their WireHider Cord Cover Kit, they wanted to broaden their target market to be direct to consumers. But how to reach them?  They decided to create a niche site selling only the Kits to make it a no-brainer purchase for people looking for a simple way to hide unsightly computer cables and electrical cords.  They put together 3  Kits to cover typical implementations for home office, home media center and home phone systems and asked us to develop a site to sell them. Oh and by the way it had to be #1 Google on launch for “cord cover kits”, as in don’t do the site, if you can’t do the SEO.

They already had 2 other sites PremiereRaceway and OnlineRaceway that we had developed.  To streamline maintenance for all three and allow for possible future integration of the backend, we simply took a copy of their code and modified the front end (the site) to present the information about the Kits in both a customer and search engine friendly manner.

Unlike other osCommerce sites, this site does not have a traditional home page.   Rather it has a carefully crafted landing page.  Nor does it have product page. All products are sold either from the home page or on a simple one product page. All up it is a deceptively simple site that does what it set out to do – sells.
